Sherry L. Corbin - Vice President
Sherry started her 46 years in advertising and marketing in a very cold military shack in Stephenville, Newfoundland. She worked for Armed Services Radio, as a disk jockey. Also hosted an hour Girl Scout live show, with about 20 different girls ,age 9 plus, several dogs ,three grown camera men who were laughing so hard that they were crying. This was supposed to be a very serious show. Actually it was a disaster.
Sherry worked in radio and television in sales and management before entering the Agency arena. She did not like being hampered by the constraints of just using one medium. She saw a much broader aspect of planning entire campaigns that brought about tangible results.
A recipient of many local, state and national awards for television and radio commercials, including an educational 15 minute television program produced for the National Kidney Foundation shown in elementary and middle schools, locally and nationally. Sherry also conceived and produced the Shots Across Texas TV Campaign for free children's polio injections sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of South Texas. This campaign won an Addy Award from the American Advertising Federation - Corpus Christi chapter. She also produced a number of 30-minute infomercials for local clients.
Sherry is known for her innovative approach to Advertising Campaigns with unique creative presentations of Companies and their products.
She has been an active working board member for
Corpus Christi Advertising Federation - served as President Flour Bluff Rotary Club - served as President National Kidney Foundation of Corpus Christi Texas - served as President Crime Stoppers of Corpus Christi Texas- 4 terms as Board Member.
